How we work
We design homes. Full renovations and new builds, single rooms and slow evolutions. Dutch directness with a warmth that we have probably absorbed from years of working between two countries, two cultures, two ways of understanding what home means.
We work closely, and we work personally. Every project begins with a conversation, and that conversation is always about life first and aesthetics second. What is already working. What has never felt quite right. What you have always wanted but never quite said out loud.
From there we build something that is entirely yours. Not a Studio 105 interior, your interior. With the proportions, the light, the materials, the details that make it impossible to imagine belonging to anyone else.
We source vintage pieces because objects with history bring a room to life in a way that new things simply cannot. We design custom furniture when nothing existing is quite right. We pay attention to the things that change how a room feels: the weight of a curtain, the texture of a wall, the height of a light fitting, the grain of a floor.
And because we believe every home deserves beautiful window dressing without having to compromise on quality or price, we make our own linen. Curtains, headboards, bedspreads. Directly, without a middleman. Made with the same intention we bring to everything.
What we believe
That a home is not a showroom. That your personal life, the stacks of books, the inherited dining table, the children's drawings on the fridge, is not a design problem to be solved. It is the whole point.
That slow is not a compromise. It is a choice. The right material, found at the right moment. The renovation that takes a little longer because you are doing it once and doing it right. The curtain you will still love in fifteen years.
That how a space makes you feel is more important than how it looks in a photograph.
That the best rooms are the ones that hold the most memories. The Sunday mornings. The dinners that went on too long. The quiet evenings. The celebrations. The ordinary days that somehow, looking back, were the ones that counted most.
Those moments need a home. Let us help you build it.
