PROJECT

Amstelveen Family Home. Full renovation and interior design, Amstelveen

SCOPE

nvolved from the moment of purchase — advising during the buying process, through construction, design, custom cabinetry, vintage sourcing and ongoing decoration advice. A collaboration that continues today.
We were there before the keys were even signed. Called in during the purchase process to look at the possibilities, to see what this house could become for a couple who had just become parents and were thinking, carefully, about the next chapter.

The south-facing garden told us everything. Combined with a genuine passion for cooking, the answer was obvious: a kitchen that opens completely towards it. Floor-to-ceiling windows. Natural light all day. The inside and outside becoming one space in a way that changes how every meal feels, from a solo coffee on a weekday morning to a long lunch with family on a summer Sunday.

The custom dining area was designed with the same generosity. Intimate enough for a quiet family dinner, expansive enough to seat twelve and keep everyone at the table long after the food is gone. Because that is what this house is for. For gathering. For staying. For the kind of evenings that end late because nobody wanted to leave.

Vintage wall lights, natural materials strong enough for real family life, and a considered palette that ties every room together. We still get a call when a new room needs attention. That is exactly how we like it.
