PROJECT

's-Graveland Coach House. Full renovation and interior design, monumental property

PROJECT

Complete involvement from the very first drawings, spatial layout, flow, construction, materials, custom cabinetry, furniture and styling. Atelier 105 linen used throughout.
A monumental coach house in one of the greenest, quietest corners of the Netherlands. Starting from scratch is a gift and also, for most people, quietly overwhelming. Every choice is possible, which means every choice has to be made. That is exactly where we came in.

We began, as we always do, by listening. We visited their current home. We discussed how they moved through rooms, how their children played, where everyone naturally gathered. We asked about their days, what tired them out, what restored them, what they had always wanted but never quite had. And then we took all of that and turned it into a home.

The living room is designed around children playing on the floor and adults relaxing on the sofa. The kitchen flows towards the custom dining table, large enough for every version of family life, from a quiet Tuesday to a long Sunday with everyone around it. The fireplace is a destination, with a sofa deep enough to disappear into for a whole evening. And outside, a fully equipped outdoor kitchen that means the dinner moves outside the moment the season allows, because with nature like this on your doorstep, you design around it, not away from it.
Natural materials throughout. Warm colours. Atelier 105 linen at every window. A home that will hold this family's story for a very long time.
